Visual version control system

[kuzminadya]

Hello everyone!

I'm studying at University of Applying Science Potsdam and writing my bachelor thesis on the topic "Visual version control system for type design". The aim of my work is to present a prototype of a GUI for VC system that can be integrated in a type design workflow.

I was searching for FontLab related projects but haven't found much so far. Is there any public plugins or descriptions of how to integrate git alike systems in a type design workflow I have overlooked?

Thanks for your help!
