- Is proficient with Font Lab software
- Has strong understanding of Open Type and ability to create Open Type fonts
- Should possess a good sensitivity to letter forms and font characteristics(i.e. consistency of style, weight, size, angle, spacing, and faithfulness to artist's original letter forms)
- Solid written and oral communication, organizational, and negotiation skills required.
- Must be proficient with Photoshop, Illustrator and MS Office software.
- Needs to be able to digitize fonts in a quick turn-around time to help keep proprietary fonts relevant to current trends
- Should have a portfolio of created fonts, original and those developed for others
-Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and deliver on-time with a high degree of quality.
Experience -
3-5 years developing fonts in a professional capacity.
