Important!

This special board is for announcing typographic events and conferences.

When you want to announce a new event or conference, do not post a new topic using the NEW TOPIC link!

Instead, please click on the CALENDAR link, navigate to the month in which the event takes place and click on the Post event link at the bottom of the calendar.

Enter the event title, the start date and the duration of the event. Make sure that Education and Collaboration - Typographic Events and Conferences is selected in the Post In field.

In the subject line, enter (again): the event title, the start and end date, the city and the country — all separated by comma (e.g. ATypI 2009, October 26–30, 2009, Mexico City, Mexico). This is important because it will make searching the archives easier.

In the body of your post, describe the event, give the exact location, indicate the target audience and the language in which the event will be held. Also give a link to a website that has more information about the event. After typing the URL for the event website, select the URL and click on the button to turn the URL into a hyperlink.
