I need to move a magazine from a mac environment to a pc environment. The logo for the magazine (and some display type inside) is 200-points and appears to be a customized version of Century Schoolbook Condensed Light. On the mac it actually calls this type Sylph ... but can't find anything like it with that name for the PC.

I'd like to change the V and the W and create a customized version of this font, for use in the logo and inside in a few select locations. The newly named font would then just be available to put on several machines, I would assume. I don't want to change the Century Schoolbook Condensed Light we already will have.

Is Type Tool the right tool for the job?

In the end we will normally be exporting our pages to PDF for the printer. I would like to have it go through our rips to the printer here, though. Are there any issues with this normally?

I also want it to be used by a number of users, perhaps up to 10.

Advice?

No, no issues. It should work.
