True Type Font not showing up on Windows

Hello... I'm having trouble getting my font to work on Windows OS. The True Type and Open Type versions of my font work fine on Mac OS, but on Windows although the preview (by double clicking the font) shows all of the characters once the font is installed in Word Pad and MS Word the characters are blank (White). Although reportedly in Correl Draw and Excel the characters are visible. Any suggestions on what to look at would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
