Hello, I am new here and I really need some help

I bought a font that I need, but it doesn't have romanian characters, like s cedilla and so on. I need to know some steps on how to do it. I figured it out finally to make a new glyph and added the cedilla to an s. But what do I do from now on and how do I assign the ALT + to it.
Thank you in advance

Thank you anyway, I finally figured it out and it works fine.
Happy Easter to all of you!
