Hi,

I created a new font, and in the place of the usual digits I created special looking digits. Meaning, with this font, if I press 1 on the keyboard, I am supposed to get my special digit 1 (this font I am using in Adobe InDesign CS 3).

Now, what happened was that in TypeTool3 this looks perfect, but when I use this font on the digits in my document, the digits look completely regular.

Now, when I place the same glyphs at the location of letters, for example, there is no problem with the font.

My question is, how can I place the special glyphs at the place of the digits?

Thanks,
Ola

the digits look completely regular.

The above phrase makes me think of two possibilities: a) digits in your text are shown with some other font or b) your custom font contains the second set of digits. Are you sure your text contains usual figures named from "one" to "zero"? Is it possible that some alternative set of figures (e.g. old style) was selected?
The more simple cause is that the font was cached by InDesign and still shows the previous version. This usually happens on Mac OS X. You should simply reset font caches in this case.

There are some freeware utilities for this purpose.
