Cannot get demo to open

I have downloaded the TypeTool 3 archive from 3 different servers. I have unpacked it with Stuffit Expander and booted the installer. It asks for my user password, which I enter, and nothing happens!

No application is installed.

I am using OS 10.5.7 on a MacBook.

Help, please.

I managed to get it working on my iMac running 10.5.7 by downloading from the Asia server!
