I'm running Intel Core iMac with OS X 10.5.8.
I have purchased TransType Pro 3.0.2 for Mac OSX.

Whenever I try to convert dfont or ttf file, as soon as I choose the destination folder, it crashes. Happens every friggin time. This software is useless.

I tried filling their problem report form, but it ends with "could not find the mail server" error. What a ripoff this company is.

And what if you select the destination in advance in Preferences > Defaults by clicking on Browse. Choose your Desktop, for example. Will it crash?

Just tried. Yes, it still crashes. It is not the destination selection, but the font conversion that seems to be crashing the program. FYI, I tried converting HelveticaNeue.dfont on to default destination set to Desktop.

Works like a charm here converting successfully both to ttf and otf. I'd recommend you to retry with the problem report form.

Are you running the latest Mac OS 10.5.8? Still crashes for me. I tried different files and different configurations.

Yes, exactly 10.5.8. Please try to re-install TransType and if this doesn't help return to the problem report form.
