hi,

i use transtype 3 pro on a mac, and i got a font files naming problem.

i've chosen "create windows file names -> Long based on PS Font Name".
When i load fonts into transtype, the names in "destination"-window are displayed correctly (e. g. AvantGardeBold, AvantGardeBlack, ...)
But when i open the "Properties"-window by doubleclicking on a font famliy and click the "okay"-button (even if i made not any changes), the font file names change automaticallly. Now the names consist of the Font Family Name and a number (e. g. ITCAvantGarde1, ITCAvantGarde2, ...)

Is this a bug?

thx in advance
mac

Yes. Looks like a bug hence names are still in "long" format but not in "8.3" format.
