Need ability to drag and drop between Scanfont and Fontlab (Win versions)

I need the ability to drag and drop characters from Scanfont to Fontlab Studio in a Windows environment.  It works fine in the Mac environment.  Is there a configuration setting in the Windows version that enables this feature?  If not, is this something that could be enabled with some custom coding?  This is critical for a project I am working on.  We have about 50 folks who will be using these two applications for the next year full-time, and the current hardware that is available is all Windows based.  I'm trying to avoid the purchase of 50 Mac computers!
