Hi,
I post a new topic as suggested bu the forum software, but the problem is the same than the thread with subject "Error MSG when exporting the font".

Someone know how to solve this?

I find strange that the windows version does not have a dialog as the mac version to select the fontlab outline editor.

Thanks

This problem may occur on Windows Vista. You can set ScanFont options so that it will export characters into vfb file instead of direct communication with Fontlab Studio (or TypeTool). Then just open the exported vfb in Studio (or in TypeTool).

Hi,
I am using XP SP3 Pro (english).

So should I able to do that directly?

Thanks

Hi,
I know about the .vfb, but I think that the feature should work if it is there. So could some explain how to fix and if there is a place in the registry where to set up the link?

Thanks

Yes, ScanFont should communicate with FL Studio automatically but it fails on some system configurations for the unknown reason. There is no any links in the registry.

A bit discouraging as an answer.
