I often use transliterated Hebrew, though sometimes Greek or other ANE transliterations. Until now I have been using special ASCII-based fonts, but it is clear that I need to start using unicode.
While waiting for a transliteration keyboard I have inputted using the unicode "character palette," which will do the job for now, but I am doubtful about which unicode character to use for some letters, such as if aleph should be Greek koronus (1FBD) or psili (1FBF) or something else, or what to do about the p with macron. I am sure that the SBL usage will be standard, so I would like to start using it or I will have to go back later and change. Is there a table of standard unicode character codes for ANE studies somewhere?
