VOLT for Mac OS X?

There was a very recent post on the old MSN board with this subject;  I was unable to read it.

Is there such a thing?

No plans to port to Mac OS. As most people are using VOLT to produce complex script OpenType fonts for use on Windows, they'll typically have a Windows partition, a Windows test machine or Parallels to test and support the fonts they're making. Those not making complex-script fonts will typically use FontLab to produce the OpenType tables. So in short, the very small market for a Mac version, is preventing Microsoft, or a third party from taking it on. However if someone is interested in developing it we're more than happy to provide some support.
