Author Topic: VOLT features to PS font  (Read 3220 times)

Hi,

I've finally managed to get some Open Type features working for my font, using VOLT but
it seems that means that I have to use a TTF version of the font.
I really detest using that in illustrator, when I have to outline the font.
Is there a way I can move the features I've created to a PS flavored font?
(cut and paste in some editor?) I'm using typetool, not fontlab, so
Adobe's AFDKO has no GUI for me- and I just don't know enough to
use it without.

Some people have developed a work-flow that will allow them to do this, but it isn't completely straight forward. Hopefully someone who's done it can post some advice here. If not might want to try typophile "build" forum.

Thanks,

Knowing there is a possibility will keep me trying, and I will ask at the typophile forum.
