Author Topic: Arabic kerning -- how do I make marks to follow kerned ligatures?  (Read 976 times)

I made a nice kerning. beh-yeh ligature (and the like) after reh is moved both closer to reh and HIGHer. I achieve this by pair positioning.
Because I choose "Process Marks NONE" I have to do a second lookup, in which I move the markS up <actually only the marks above>.
BUT only the first mark is moved when I use for this another pair positioning.
But of course, both marks -- the on above beh and the one above yeh -- have to move higher.
What is the proper way to do it?
Thanks.

Do your kern feature lookups precede your mark feature lookups? They should.
