Problem running Cache TT in Win 7

ERROR: There was a problem running CacheTT.exe. Device metrics tables were not built.

Solution: generate the ttf on a local disk, not on the server (Windows Server 2003).

Question: would it work when I use Windows Server 2008?

(Then the remaining MacOS 8 and 9 PCs won't be able to connect to the network no more, is there a virtual OS9 environment around?)
