tx and UFO's plists
« on: 2013-12-04, 03:30:24 »
It seems that tx aborts if the 'false' value in a plist is written <false /> (with a space before the slash) instead of <false/> (without the space).
As far as I know the space before the slash is legal for empty elements in xml (am I wrong?)

I'm asking this because I'm writing my own library to work with UFOs (in Racket) that outputs empty elements with a space before the slash, that tx rejects.

Thank you for the bug report. I have made the fix in the FDK sources, and it will be in the next release.

I have attached that latest version of ufoTools.py, as it has other changes not yet published, most notably for a case where a first off-curve point can occur when the first AND last op is a curve. You will need to rename the extension from ".txt" to ".py".
