Transtype 4 for Windows?

Discussion started on TransType

It is good that the beta versions of TT 4 are out for Mac but what features will be in Transtype Pro 4 for Windows? I didn't see an appropriate topic in whch to post (or perhaps I am too tired), but it is starting to feel like the days of Windows 3.11 where if you said 'font' and 'Windows', you were greeted with laughter.

Will the blending feature be in the Windows version?  Will it handle inconvertible typefaces better than it does now? If 3.02 runs into a font from hell, it seizes up in such a way that task manager has to be used to terminate the program. This usually happens during batch conversion use. A more smoother recovery would be nice

A 64 bit version would also be useful as far as the amount of memory that could be addressed for the program nd multi threading. Overall I find this product to be decent (especially in converting older fonts) so I am hoping that TT Pro 4 for Windows lives up to my expectations.

We want to iron out the major bugs during the Mac beta program. First, we'll release the Mac version but the Windows version should be available no more than 2-3 weeks after the Mac release.

I am hoping you are hard at work with your bug iron.  :)When TT for Windows runs into a font it can't convert, it freezes and starts to inhale memory resources. I usually have to go into Task manager and kill the actual process (versus the application) I also am looking forward to using the mixing tool you that at least was mentioned for the Mac. It would be nice to make Court Hand a bit more readable and loosen up Geometric Sans a little bit.

Support+Docs, FontLab
Yes, I can confirm this bug.
While we are working on it don't use extended Latin characters in the names of folders i.e. name your test folders with font files in English.

Although we do try to track bug reports in the forums,
