Trouble with solid counters in my letters

Hey,

I'm having trouble with my counters in a font that I'm busy working on. I'v hand drawn the letters, scanned them in and livetraced them in Adobe Illustrator. I then copy them across to FontLab. The issue I'm having is that certain counters ("holes" in the middle of the letters such as R, A, D etc) are not appearing 'hollow' as they should, but rather as black. I'v fiddled around and I cant seem to delete/cut them or anything. I'm sure it's a simple solution.

Holes usually have the opposite direction of the contour. So change contour's direction.
