Keystrokes, Apply to All Fonts buttons, and more

Excuse me for the long grocery list, but I'm avoiding some other work and this seemed like a good way of killing time.
Most of this list is to help when dealing with large families. Scripts help, but there are some times when a script is overkill and it would be nice to have them built-in.
Cheers,
Mark
Font Info:
- Keystrokes for
Apply and Change Font
.
- Keystrokes for moving left and right in Font Info (without clicking on the left-hand list).
- A way to view the entire
OT Names
table without scrolling.
- Instant recognition of name lengths (ex: change field color to red when name exceeds length).
- Ability to set defaults for URLs, License, etc. in Preferences (you can move the
TrueType Vendor Code: Use it as Default
box there too).
-
Apply Change to ALL Fonts
button (ex: set TrueType Version record to the same in all fonts). Make it a check-box to the left of "Cancel/Apply/OK"
Font Window:
Apply to ALL Fonts
(ex: when changing to a specific Codepage). Could be something like holding Option when making a change. It sucks to do this manually for multiple fonts.
Sort Glyphs
: Needs a window or Output message to let the user know that something has changed.
OpenType Features window:
-
Copy Features from a Font
should not affect kerning in other fonts. Features are typically standard for a family, but kerning is font-specific.
- New option:
Copy Features to ALL Fonts
.
- Triple-clicking on the Mac should select the entire line of text, not just the word (that's double-click)
When Exporting a font, I want to see the export options and/or if the font using custom settings.
