Hi, I'm a newbie trying out SigMaker 3 to see if it will be the right solution for creating some custom symbols in a font.
I am experiencing weird difficulties however.
First, I cannot import AI or EPS (vers. 3, 5, 7, or 8 ) files.  They just come out blank when importing or copying from clipboard in SigMaker's second step.
Second, I've tried then exporting the same images to bitmap files (TIFF, PNG, GIF, JPEG), but in every case (i.e. every file format) SigMaker always distorts or chops off the right edge or bottom edge.  I've checked the graphics in every other viewer/editor I have and they are fine -- they just come out distorted in the second and subsequent steps of SigMaker.
If this is a known problem, or if there is an update, or if I am doing something wrong (e.g. for bitmaps, is there a specific resolution I need to abide by?), I would like to know.
Thanks in advance.

I have exactly the same issue here.

I use CS3, and am unsure if this is the issue or if i am doing something wrong.
The manual is very basic, and it seems unlikely we'll get a response here either.

Thanks Alex for your detailed help by email.
And it was very generous of you to promptly help out a trial user.
I will be getting a license of SigMaker.
