I am a new user of BitFonter. I have created a small font set of icons in BitFonter (in 4 gray scale) and I would like to insert these icons into other documents such as MSWord, PageMaker and Adobe InDesign. when I save the font as a .ttf it will only display as small square dots in the document. I have a feeling it is the settings I am using but I don't know. Any thoughts?

I figured it out. The font was set at a resolution that was too low to display on the screen when the font size was high. It was not a gray scale issue.

Now I can view the font in MS word but I can't print it at all. It just comes out as little black dots.

sounds like a great big em square with little characters in it... your best bet is to open Arial - paste your characters somewhere, scale the characters to the size of the em sqaure, rename the font and regenerate it
