Please give a keyboard command for centring glyphs

On Fontographer it is possible to apply a simple command to horizontally centre a glyph (or selected part of a glyph) in its cell. The command is Metrics > Equalize Sidebearings.
It would be very helpful if this facility were available in FontLab as well.
Thanks!

In FontLab:
Actions: Metrics> Center glyph.
Additionally, right click on components has a "center" function.
(MM compatible)

Is there a way to create a
center glyph
button? In other words: Actions/Metrics/Center Glyph but in handy button form.
