Hi there,

I need to convert some font files (Open type and Type1) to TTF files. Under Embedding&Identification tab --> Font Embedding Setting, I chose "Everything is allowed". But the converted TTF files all have the setting "Only previewing and printing allowed". Not sure why this is not working. Any ideas?

Thanks,

The idea is that you cannot allow things that were prohibited. If the source font has "Only previewing and printing allowed" bit set you cannot change it to "Editing is allowed" or "Everything is allowed" in the destination font. TransType tries to not violate licenses and copyrights this way. See pages 69-70 of the TransType Pro/Mac Manual and pages 79-80 of the TransType Pro/Win Manual.
