OK...finally got OS 9 (500MB RAM) running on the intel imac using sheepshaver.  Installed Fontographer (5845K)..everything OK so far.  Started the app but when I try to open a new or existing font, everything (Fontographer and Sheepshaver) shuts down.  Other apps (Illustrator, Appleworks, etc.) work fine.  Any ideas why the crash?

It looks like you have Fontographer4.1 ---if this is true then you might want to get the 4.7.3 demo which is written for Intel Macs.

Yes, it is Fontographer 4.1.4...that's why I installed the Sheepshaver program in order to emulate OS9 on the intel iMac.  There are features in Fontographer (which I've already paid for) that I like more than Fontlab (and vice versa) and I was hoping to run Fontographer under OS9, save the font as TT or Type 1, open it in Fontlab on the iMac and finish it up there. Others have reported running the Fontographer 4.1 on Sheepshaver with no problem.  However, for me it just crashes the Sheepshaver program.
