Hello,
I'm having a problem with the 'remove overlap' command, which doesn't join my selected shapes. I've also experienced that this command deleted all selected shapes instead of joining them. Anyone having similar problems or even better: know how to solve this?

All help appreciated!

I'm not sure I understand completely. My problem is typically joining the stem with the bowl, I don't believe the shapes are duplicates, only some parts overlap...

The solution was very basic... Element>Clean Up Paths solved the problem. Weird, there were no curves in the character, no BCP's, no duplicate shapes, no stray points, not multiple points, all points were aligned to grid. The only difference in the character after Element>Clean Up Paths were two points coverted to tangent points...

Anyway, I'm happy it works out now!

This sounds like a classic case of paths on top of paths. This will happen if you have say, a circle, and you don't realize that there is a duplicate circle on top of that circle. Things get really strange.
