FOG is fine with me as it is.  I would just like a fix to allow it to run in the new 64-bit envoronments of Windows, since that's obviously where the future lies.  could that be done with the current pseudocode, or is a whole rewrite necessary to accomplish that feat?

As for Fontlab, I have downloaded the demo version several times and tried to figure it out, each time in vain.  Most of the features it has compared to FOG I don't need, and the interface is just about impossible.  I'd run FOG in a 32-bit partition on my Windows system before I switched to Fontlab, I think.

Since that provides me with absolutely no useful information, like expected ship date, new features, specifications, or anything else, I came to this web site expecting to find SOMETHING. But there's NOTHING, not even the pitiful ad or a teaser indicating that it's on it's way. Huh

You know these guys at Fontlab are very-very secretive.  Wink They will never tell you the ship date. Probably they do not know it themselves. Even if one of them promises to release the product by the end of the year you should not believe him. Add at least 6 months.  Smiley

You mean we might see something as soon as 2011? Isn't that a little faster than the normal update cycle from the guys at Fontlab? I understand that they measure their release cycles in decades.
