Missing characters after save

Hi all,

I am a novice Fontographer 4 user on a Mac.  I am trying to add symbols to a font.  I rename the font, copy and paste the symbols and save.

When I install this new font on a Windows xp 32 bit workstation, the dash symbol "-" is missing from the font set.  It is there when viewed on the mac.  I am starting with a TTF font from the windows workstation.  This problem happens even if I just rename the font and save.

Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong?

I have seen this. Sometimes it is the exclamation point that goes missing.

Maybe you should be using the Windows version of FOG, if you want to end up using your fonts on a Windows PC...
