keyboard shortcut for import

Hey, does anyone know if there is a keyboard shortcut for Import in fontographer? I have a lot of characters created in Illustrator and i'm tired of going to File/Import/EPS. Thanks!

Have you tried copy/paste?

Yep, I sure did (and maybe i'm just doing something right) but I get a different result when i import than when i copy/paste. I have attached two screenshots. v1 is when I import. v2 is when I copy paste. The copy paste puts the letter below the baseline and also it's not filled like the imported version...

I don't ever do this so I'm going by old memories.

You do get different results. But I cannot remember where I saw that information. I'm just guessing from the few tests I made when writing the book.

Being filled or not depends on whether you have Preview turned on or not (assuming the path is closed). However, your path looks very strange in your capture.

There is no shortcut that I know of.
