Fontographer 5, query on upgrade from v3.5.2

Hi,

I have just downloaded the demo of Fontographer 5 onto my Windows Vista 64-bit computer, and it seems to work very well.

I currently own Fontographer 3.5.2 delivered on two diskettes when I purchased it in 2003, and it is installed on my old WinXP computer. Your upgrade price seems to indicate that I need to provide a serial number that was issued from FontLab. I have a feeling that my program was not owned by FontLab at that time. Will you still respect the upgrade fee if I provide the serial number that is printed on my original two diskettes?

One thing that I tried with the demo version was to open my original *.fog file that I produced in Fontographer 3.5.2 but the new Fontographer 5 would not open it - I then shuddered. However, I managed to open the *.ttf version of the font file and got the demo to save the file as a *.fog file, though only 20 characters were saved, which was OK for my tests. Though the original *.fog file could not be opened, I was very happy that it did open the *.ttf file and I was able to save it as a *.fog file.
