I am disappointed in how long it has been for any updates for Fontographer and for FL. I bought both. And when will foglamp make it into FL. I was told 3 years ago it be in 5.x. Snow Leopard is coming soon. Will 5.x break then???

In software development everything always takes at least twice as long as you think it will Sad But FOG5 is very close to completion and we hope to release it this September.
FL6 is on the schedule for next year, but we have no reason to believe that Snow Leopard will break FLS5.

I'm looking forward to beta-testing, and hoping that what is familiar isn't going to be "improved" away as so often happens with updates....

May I add by saying that Snow Leopard will NOT include the PPC Emulation environment Rosetta in default install and most users will not be aware that this is only an optional install. So Fontlab applications MUST be updated to be Intel native.

Also Fontlab applications will need to support the new Font formats in Snow Leopard TTF and TTF Collections. Currently Fontlab Studio can not open ANY fonts installed on Snow Leopard.... message is "unsupported format".

Well... At least if Rosetta isn't installed on Snow Leopard FontLab should tell the user what is missing and how to get it.
