I have not seen any mention of this, so maybe it is something unique to me.

Select the slash glyph in the font view window and open the metrics window. What do you see on the top line after Text:? Now type in four more slashes. How many slashes do you see in the edit window and how many do you see displayed in the main metrics window?

What I get is two slashes on the top for every one displayed in the metrics window.

Also, when I select the fraction glyph (unicode 2044) in the OpenType Latin Pro encoding and open the metrics window, there are two slashes shown in the edit window. If I type in fractions (Shift-Option 1), no more than one slash will show in the window.
