Problem with kerning

[Evertype]

I have set up a number of classes (correctly, using Windows > Panels > Classes) and then set some kernings in Window > New Metrics Window.

Now I am not sure what to do with Tools > Kerning Assistance, because I am getting the following rather verbose error:

Learn FontLab Fast does not seem to help, since the Kerning Assistance dialogue seems to be different in that book than in the software.

Can anyone help?

OK, I found out that I had a duplicate glyph in the Classes (that's the uni03EB listed above); with that removed, the error is now only:
