Ran FontQA on my font. It had an error that says: "Some composite glyphs have empty components. nbspace->(space)."

From this I take it that it is saying that there is something wrong with my nbspace glyph, and also my space glyph? It's calling them composities? But they're blank!

Can anyone wager a guess as to what this could be about? Thanx!

Hello,

The message means the nbspace glyph is built as a composite. It uses a glyph (space) as component which has no outline. You can check this in the glyph properties panel (number of components). It should be recognizable in the glyph window context menu as well - 'Decompose' command is active.

You can simply decompose the nbspace and everything is fine.

Best

That worked! I just decomposed it and it got rid of the error! Thank you so much!
