In moving to the new Mac version of FL (5.1) I notice all my custom keyboard assignments are gone. I don't see any obvious way to move between the versions other than redoing it all from scratch. Is there a way to move them?

FontLab Studio 5.0.4, Mac OS X 10.4.11

In FontLab Studio 5.0 and 5.1 (since the release of 5.0 a few years ago), the keyboard shortcuts have always been stored in the workspace. So once you've set up your keyboard shortcuts and other customizations to the UI, just do Window / Workspace / Export Workspace, and save your workspace as something like "MyWorkspace51.rc". It's a good idea to do that once your settings are "good".

If you ever need to migrate to a different computer or if your workspace becomes "corrupt" in some way, make sure the MyWorkspace51.rc file is in the Studio 5/Workspaces subfolder of your FontLab user data folder -- it'll then become visible in Window / Workspace. Just click on it and your customizations will be loaded into FLS.

(Note that FLS 5.1 uses a somewhat different notation so unfortunately Workspace .rc files are not compatible between 5.0 and 5.1. But it's definitely safe to do that between same versions of FLS).
