Is there a way (there must be) to "italicize" a font? If so, can I have an OTF family with both the plain, the bold and the italic glyphs of both the fonts, all together in one OTF file?

Thanks

One OTF file can only contain one typeface: normal, bold or italic.

Thank you.

So I need to create separate files for each weight.

What about italicizing?

Thanks

What about italicizing?

You can slant with
Tools > Action > Outlines > Slant
but italic typefaces usually have different glyph shapes.

Thanks, I did that. The font looks OK, the customer is not willing to pay for creating separate glyphs. He used the faux Italics in QX and he is happy, so I used the 11 slant angle and he is satisfied with the result.

Thanks very much
