Slanted sidebearings

It would be really save time when working with italics if sidebearings would appear and be measured as if they were slanted to match a font’s italic angle. I realize that a font cannot actually have slanted sidebearings, but just for the sake of making development easier such a feature would be a godsend.

Ikarus M had that feature, and I found it quite useful.
