Author Topic: Scrollbars in Kerning/Metrics Window in FontLab 6.0  (Read 419 times)

I'd like to see the following:

1. When you select a glyph/character in the Kerning/Metrics window, I'd like to have a scrollbar either side so that I can change the characters adjoining to the left and right of the one I am studying, so that I can scroll through ALL the characters more easily...

2. A way that when you are drawing, that FontLab looks like Illustrator with Toolbars, Layers -- so that when you have finished drawing, you come out of that 'view' and back into the glyph cell - and hey presto! There is your glyph...

3. Better Layers... so that it looks kinda like Illustrator or CorelDraw or Freehand (RIP, old boy)...

4. I know you can hide or lock the Metrics/Guides etc, but I'd like to see in Kerning/Metrics window, a way of working that will PREVENT you from moving a guide, sidebearings or other stuff when you are working on Metrics. Same for Kerning...

5. Oh, and better zoom tools in the Glyph window...  Or, better still, a way to resize the glyph window in which you are working so that the actual GLYPH CELL resizes (larger) and you can move around using the Hand tool (that would be in there too)...
