Make information in the Glyph Properties window editable

I can't tell you how many times I use the Glyph Properties window to check metrics. It would be wonderful if I could enter numerical information directly in that window.

Basically you are right
But when you rightclick on a sidebearing line (Show glyph metrics has to be on, then you can choose Properties) then the Property window changes to an editable Metrics property window!

Yeah, sure, obviously, but why should I have to open the glyph window and then click on a side bearing to perform an edit. If I can review pertinent data by scrolling through the glyph showings while in the font window, I should be able to edit that info via the Properties and not go through two more steps.
