Keep alt key from accessing the menu from the metrics window

In FLS 5.04, I often use the ctrl and alt keys when I'm adjusting sidebearings in the metrics window. Ctrl+arrows moves on the left sidebearing. Ctrl+alt+arrows moves the right sidebearing. But when I let go of Ctrl slightly before Alt, focus pops up to the main menu bar (File Edit View etc.) It would be nice in the next version if, when I'm in the metrics window you could stop alt from accessing the main menu.
