When marking glyphs in the font window, I often use the color slider button. Red, blue, cyan, magenta, green and white aren't enough. But I'd rather have a palette of with a few colors than a slider. When marking glyphs as yellow, I can't remember which shade of yellow I used*. If there's a tool which allows me to select glyphs by color, I'll be unable to select all those slightly off-color yellows, purples etc. It would be more useful to add yellow, yellow-green, purple, orange and aqua buttons.

* yes, I know I could write down the number or memorize it. Shuddup.

Speaking of selecting glyphs by color: I'd love to be able to ctrl click the color buttons to select matching glyphs.

With regard to the selection of color marked characters there is a script: http://forum.fontlab.com/fontlab-studio-wish-list/command-select-all-glyphs-with-same-mark-color-as-selected-glyph-t7599.0.html;msg25745#msg25745

Perhaps we could make a swatchbook interface with user definable names like "Cyrillic lc", "smcp"  or "FIX THIS" instead of color names.

That's a good idea. Notes are okay but you can't apply a note to a selection. This would be useful.
