Some number fields in FontLab can be changed in size like the rulers and node coordinates but not all. I think all text in the font and glyph windows should be user controllable as to font and size. Even changing the ruler font size doesn't help much since you can't control the ruler size itself. Guideline numbers and the guideline names are too small for an aging population (like me). And the positions of the guideline names is too short and most are cut off. Instead of setting them flush left they should be flush right to the glyph window.

Windows 7 > Control Panel > Display
Switch from Smaller (default) to Medium.
Works almost perfect with FontLab. For huge screens, high resolution and ageing eyes.

Thanks for the tip but I'm on MAC OS 10.5.8. I can turn on Universal Access, but the zoom effect gets disorienting after awhile. Guess I'm stuck using a magnifying glass.
