Does anybody know how to change the centerline of a control box surrounding a component?

A workaround: You could add a (temporary) point on the left or right of the source glyph to make its bounding box wider, which would have the effect of changing the center/centerline. Example: to shift the center/centerline of a component 10 units to the right, add a point 20 units to the right of the rightmost point in the source glyph.
