im new to fontlab studio 5 im trying to import the shapes ive made in illustrator cs2 into fontlab
by the copy and paste command  via the keyboard (windows) ctrl c , ctrl v...

now the link below showing tutorial how to on you tube   shows this is possible

but i do seem to be doing something wrong as the shapes are only appear in fontlab as an outline and the fill of colour in black is removed

basically tring to import shapes from illustrator into fontlab is this not common as no one has replied, i thought this would be  something
happend alot to a abosolute begginner like myself ,

i ve found the problem now thanks for every 1 whos viewed

solution

windows drop panel 
editing layers

click graphic icon with black white square (this is icon which removes the fill )

ok silly to anwser a qeustion i was asking but i thought people who viewed may have similar problem ok...
