Hi there,

does anyone know how to change the KERNING preview string?

the preview I mean shows in Kerning mode/Metric Window normaly like:
HOH..non
HHH..nnn
000..ooo
XHX..xox

I would like to change this from time to time.

Would be thankful for any kind of comment!
Thanks!
Luke

You can put the customized
HD/Library/Application Support/FontLab/Studio 5/Data/Metrics.txt
to
~/Library/Application Support/FontLab/Studio 5/Data/

thank you very much! i tried that once, some time ago!
now i know that the file has to be put in HD/user/libary/applicationsupport...

and maybe one thing others should know:
in my case numerals for example did only work as "Names" like

/zero/
/one/
etc
instead of
0

They should also work like this: \30\31\32

I made a tutorial for the Metrics Window, I'll try to upload...

If you put your various preview texts into:

/Users/(user name)/Library/Application Support/Fontlab/Studio 5/Test

numbers (1, 2, etc.) should work without using / or \. If you can type the character (Ç or å for instance) into a plain text document it should work without using slashes. Also change the directory in the metrics window to the above.
