I have a font family with 8 weights (Regular, Light, Bold, Semibold & their respective Italics). I have used a link found here on the Forum as well as another extensive explanation of naming the fonts. The font is an OT-PS. I have tested it on Windows in WordPad and it successfully shows up as Font Regular & Font Light. The problem is how it shows up in Mac or Windows Adobe products. The name is listed twice in the pulldown menu & then the weights are divided up with Light, Light Italic, Regular, Regular Italic & Bold in one place & Semibold, Semibold Italic & Bold Italic in another. Per Cabarga's book, I have enabled 'Use the OpenType names as menu names on Macintosh', & selected 'Append OpenType name record to the names exported by default under Preferences.' I have also enabled 'Use the PostScript Font Name as Full Name.'

Does anyone know how I can get all my weights to show up under one pulldown? BTW, I have also repeatedly removed old versions of the font from my System fonts as well as cleared the font caches, so I don't think this is the problem.

Post a table as Adam did in this message, but add the weight classes, please: http://forum.fontlab.com/fontlab-studio-tips-and-tricks/font-family-naming-in-fontlab-studio-5-t313.0.html;msg841#msg841.

Thanks for the link with the table. I found it extremely helpful. I was able to finally get everything working properly on all applications in both Windows & Mac. Thanks for your helpful response.
