Is there an easy way to copy all the existing glyphs in my font to a test file so I can easily preview in other applications like Indesign?

Use the "Quick test as..." from the "Tools" menu.  After you select either the TT or PS option, a window showing a selection of your glyphs pops up. Click the flag on top of it and select "all glyphs" from the choices .  The window now contains all of your glyphs.  Copy and paste this into what ever application you wish to test it in.
