In FLS5.0.4 in Windows: Clicking a font audit closepath warning arrow will often generate a mode of the wrong type. For example, if the closepath warning arrow is near a square node, clicking it will close the path. However. the node will change to a triangle node instead of square. Clicking that node will cause it to behave like a triangle node, which usually ruins the shape. The only way I found to repair the node is to recalculate all nodes everytime it happens . . . which can be several times a day.

It's similar to the way sketch mode and interpolate will often generate incorrect node types.
