Hi guys,

Am very new to fonts and the world of font design.  Have just created my first font and trying to get it working properly.  I've got a few of my letters made up of multiple outlines.  I've set the curve direction correctly so they look right in fontlab (ie they work as a union where they cross rather than invert).  However when i try to generate my font as an opentype PS they render in photoshop and illustrator wrong.  The fonts that have multiple sections invert the colour where they cross.  Strangely if i zoom out beyond 150% in illustrator they work fine.

Have tried contour -> set curve direction to PS but doesn't change anything.

Its probably a very stupid thing i've done but anyone got any ideas?

Take this as rough orientation:

There are two ways to merge overlapping contours:

1. Menu / Contour / Transform / Merge Contours
2. Tools / Actions / Contours / Remove overlap

As far as I remember, one of these ways is better than the other, but I cannot remember, which one.

But make sure, the PS directions are correct, before you start:

Menu / Contours / Paths / Set PS direction
